Lapid brings relief to 6,000 flood-affected families in Pampanga

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Lito Lapid on Thursday led the distribution of assistance to some 6,000 families affected by flooding in his home province, Pampanga.

Lapid visited flooded areas in Minalin, Macabebe, Masantol, and Candaba to distribute food packs and check on the condition of affected residents.

He also coordinated with local officials to determine the immediate needs of flood-hit communities.

As part of the relief effort, the senator distributed family food packs to around 4,000 families who remained affected by floodwaters in the four municipalities.

The senator was accompanied by Board Members Maynard Lapid and Kaye Naguit, and other local officials of the Pampanga provincial government during the distribution of assistance to affected communities.

Meanwhile, the Lingkod Lapid team is also set to distribute food packs to affected families in the towns of Sasmuan and Guagua.

In total, around 6,000 families across Pampanga received family food packs through the relief initiative.
