Las Vegas Golden Nights owner Bill Foley is in talks to buy Bournemouth.

Foley is chairman of Fidelity National Financial, one of the largest insurance companies in the US, and is said to be worth $1.2billion.

However he is most known for his involvement with ice hockey franchise the Golden Knights.

Sources with knowledge of the proposed deal say that Bournemouth's Russian-born owner Maxim Demin is giving serious consideration to selling, says the Daily Mail.

The owner, who has British citizenship, is understood to have appointed US-based firm Montminy & Co to identify potential buyers or investors.

It has been indicated that Demin values the club in excess of £150million.
