Kota Kinabalu: The State Government needs to refine and simplify the existing approval procedures for transhipment licences, says the Asean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).

ACCI Sabah Chapter President Nordin Ening said this was important to ensure the businesses of industry players, which contributed to the State’s economic growth, could run smoothly.

He said the business players were facing a daunting task, especially in applying for a transhipment licence, when they wanted to expand their businesses to the regional and international markets.
