Mind you, the prices listed above are inclusive of a special RM3,000 rebate given to early bird customers who book and register the car before December 31 this year. Included with said prices is a comprehensive warranty package, such as a 5-year or 150,000 km full vehicle warranty, a 5-year free service maintenance inclusive of labour and parts, and an 8-year or 180,000 km warranty for the battery, electric motor, and electric motor control unit.

Not to forget, a 1-to-1 battery pack replacement is also available should your EV battery state-of-health (SoH) dip below 70% within the stipulated warranty period.

2025 GWM Ora Good Cat

We’ll start with the updated 2025 Ora Good Cat, where the cutesy EV hatch retains its quirky, retro-inspired look from the pre-update model. Some key highlights include rounded LED headlights, 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, a rounded, Beetle-inspired hatchback body style, and many more.

As for its colourway, the updated Good Cat EV gains a new So Blue colourway with a blacked-out roof and wheels, on top of the existing options like Hazel Wood Beige with Brown Roof and Pistachio Green.

Now available in a single Ultra variant, the onboard equipment for the new Good Cat is more or less similar to the previous model. Key highlights include a 7-inch digital instrument display panel, a 10.25-inch interactive touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 50-watt wireless charger, new My GWM mobile app support, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with synthetic leather upholstery, and multiple interior colourways like Green-Grey, Brown-Rice, and Green-Rice.

Power is still drawn from a single FWD electric motor rated at 143 PS and 210 Nm, which is good for a V-max of up to 150 km/h. Said motor is juiced by a 57.7-kWh LFP battery pack that supplies up to 480 km of NEDC range and can be charged via both DC 60 kW (30-80% in 38 mins) and AC 6.6 kW charging methods.

2025 GWM Ora Good Cat GT

Moving on to the new Ora Good Cat GT, this sportier version of the Good Cat EV hatch gains a slew of styling and performance upgrades to justify its GT badge. Key visual changes include an exclusive GT bodykit featuring aggressive bumpers and a rear wing, a slew of gloss black trim accents, 18-inch Sporty Black alloy wheels with yellow trims, and two exterior colourways—Aqua Grey and Sun Black.

The GT treatment continues inside this sporty EV hatch, where it swaps the standard Good Cat’s synthetic leather upholstery for a sportier suede upholstery for its GT sport front seats with yellow stitching accents. Other amenities are mostly carried over from the standard model, including a 7-inch digital instrument display panel, a 10.25-inch interactive touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 50-watt wireless charger, and many more.

More importantly, the GT model also benefits from a performance upgrade, particularly for its single FWD motor setup that now delivers 171 PS and 250 Nm, plus a launch control function. Juice is still provided by the same 57.7 kWh LFP unit, albeit now with a slightly discounted NEDC range of 460 km.

Safety-wise, both the new Good Cat and Good Cat GT get a comprehensive suite of ADAS functions, including Auto Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Intelligent Cornering, Front Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Central Keeping (LCK), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), Second Collision Mitigation (SCM), and many more.
