Arsenal Invincible Lauren admits he's delighted seeing Martin Odegaard fulfil his potential with the Gunners.
Odegaard, as captain, has been a key player in Arsenal's run to the Premier League summit this season and no-one is happier than Lauren seeing the Norway international prove himself at this level.
The former Sevilla and Real Mallorca wing-back watched Odegaard battle through the system at Real Madrid and was always convinced of the midfielder's ability.
On behalf of Bet365, Lauren explained to Tribalfootball.com: "I love this player. I would watch him (on-loan) at Real Sociedad when I was doing commentary for LaLiga.
"I had no doubt about his talent. He just had to find a club where he could develop his talent - and suddenly we've seen that at Arsenal!
"Look, Odegaard is a fantastic player. He is intelligent. He dominates in situations. He knows how to control the tempo of the game. Not to rush things - if that's called for. He understands what to do in every situation."
Lauren continued: "He gets himself in positions where he can score a goal and make that final pass to the strikers.
"Odegaard has been brilliant this season."
