LD Vocational College murder case: Court dismisses bail applications by defendants

TAWAU: The High Court here on Thursday dismissed a bail application by seven of 13 child defendants in the high-profile murder of a Lahad Datu Vocational College student in March this year.

Judge Datuk Duncan Sikodol dismissed the application after considering affidavits and submissions by the defence and prosecution.

The case was also scheduled for remention on June 27, 2024 at the Lahad Datu Magistrates Court.

They were jointly charged with murdering Mohamad Nazmie Aizzat Mohd Narul Narul Azwan, 17, under Section 302 of the Penal Code which carries the death sentence if convicted.
