Charlie Austin is digging in his heels at Southampton.
Austin has snubbed a move to West Brom and looks set to see out the rest of his contract at Southampton.
The clubs had agreed a deal but Austin decided he wanted to stay put and fight for his place, says the Mirror.
He has 12 months left on his St Mary's contract and will be in pole position to negotiate a lucrative move as a free agent next year.
