Programme delivered 8 strategic sessions connecting over 20 CXO leaders with Selangor’s leading businesses, investors, and ecosystem partners over nine months of curated leadership exchange

PETALING JAYA, — The Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) tonight marked the successful conclusion of the Sidec CXO Club at a Closing Gala Dinner themed “The Final Ascent,” held at M World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. The event was graced by YB Ng Sze Han, Selangor State EXCO for Investment, Trade & Mobility, who highlighted the Selangor State Government’s commitment to building a high-value digital economy ecosystem for the state. The programme was made possible with the support of AFFIN Group as its Main Sponsor.

The Sidec CXO Club brought together CEOs, founders, C-level executives, investors, and corporate decision-makers over nine months of curated strategic engagements. Across 8 sessions — comprising executive roundtables, fireside chats, coaching engagements, networking sessions, and industry visits — participants gained direct access to insights and leadership perspectives from some of Malaysia’s most recognised organisations.

The programme was designed not as a conventional networking platform, but as a trusted space for authentic leadership exchange, strategic collaboration, and peer-to-peer learning among Malaysia’s business and innovation community.

A key enabler of this programme was AFFIN Group, who served as the Main Sponsor of the Sidec CXO Club. AFFIN Group’s support was instrumental in bringing together the calibre of leaders, expertise, and industry exposure that defined the programme — from financial and capital markets insights to access to senior banking and investment professionals across its

sessions. Sidec extends its deepest appreciation to AFFIN Group for their commitment to advancing Malaysia’s business leadership community.

What the Programme Delivered

Over nine months, the Sidec CXO Club successfully delivered 8 strategic sessions engaging more than 20 core CXO leaders alongside a wide network of ecosystem partners across Malaysia’s digital economy landscape.

Through collaborations with Bursa Malaysia, Carsome, TTRacing, AFFIN Group, MPCA, and Cradle Fund, participants gained exposure to leadership strategies, IPO readiness, venture capital ecosystems, digital commerce expansion, and regional growth opportunities.

Beyond the sessions themselves, the programme catalysed meaningful relationships — connecting SME founders, corporate leaders, investors, and ecosystem builders in ways that will continue to generate value long after tonight.

“The Selangor State Government remains committed to strengthening high-value economic ecosystems that create sustainable growth and empower our business community to scale regionally and globally. Programmes like the Sidec CXO Club cultivate exactly the kind of leadership and collaboration that Malaysia’s digital economy needs — and tonight is a testament to what becomes possible when the right people are in the room together.”

— YB Ng Sze Han, Selangor State EXCO for Investment, Trade & Mobility
