Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Fish Marketing Sdn Bhd (Safma) honoured the service of former Deputy Chairman Mohd Isquzawan Israq Datuk Arsit while welcoming Khazarudin Kahar as its new Deputy Chairman during an appreciation dinner on Friday.
Safma Chairman Datuk Mohammad Mohamarin said the company was grateful for Mohd Isquzawan's dedication, commitment and contributions, which had helped strengthen its efforts to develop Sabah's fisheries industry and seafood marketing sector.
He said Safma wished Mohd Isquzawan continued success in his future endeavours and hoped the close relationship forged during his tenure would continue.
Mohammad also expressed confidence that Khazarudin's appointment would reinforce Safma's leadership in driving the company's development agenda and enhancing the competitiveness of the State's fisheries industry for the benefit of fishermen and the entire value chain.
Also present were Safma General Manager Burhan Jafar, Deputy General Manager Azis Ali Amat with the Board of Directors and company staff.
