
NABAWAN: Some 836 Form Five, Lower and Upper Sixth students received learning utensils donated by Nabawan Assemblyman Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohamed Yassin.
The donations were presented by Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Nabawan Youth Chief Ag Azuan Pg Hamzah at the District Education Office here.
Azuan said the recipients comprised 524 SPM, 170 Lower and 142 Upper Sixth students.
“The donation (stationary) is one of the many programmes of the assemblyman’s office to help the community from various walks of life who need help,” he said.

“Other than that, donations to any association, including sports associations in the district in need, will also be taken into account by the assemblyman,” he said.
Nabawan District Education Officer Laineh Agindang welcomed the donations.
She said the Education Office in Nabawan is always open to receiving donations or help for schools.
