Jesse Marsch was delighted with Leeds' fighting spirit in Tuesday's draw with Everton.
Luis Sinisterra equalised for Leeds early in the second-half, sparking an offensive onslaught from the home side which did not result in a winner.
Speaking after the game, Marsch said: "It was too slow, given that Everton from the very beginning tried to kick balls away, take their time on goal kicks. The referee should have managed that better. It is an entertainment business.
"Thirty-five thousand people didn't come here to watch a goalkeeper take a minute over evert goal kick. However, we made life difficult for ourselves by going a goal down. We wanted a better start and hold on the game.
"I saw a team that was confident and fighting and moving and doing all they can, action after action, to get back into the match. As disappointing as it is not to get three points, I think we are making progress with out group. I really like our players and team. More work to do but we will keep pushing."
