Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani has emerged as the preferred bidder for Sampdoria.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says Radrizzani, QSI and Aser are involved in the takeover of the relegated Serie A club.
Radrizzani has been favoured by the Samp board thanks to the way he plans to restructure their debt.
All salaries at Samp are due to be pay by May 30.
Like Samp, Leeds could also have their relegation confirmed today.
