Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk admits he'd like to extend his current contract which is set to expire in the summer of 2024.

The 23-year-old has deputised at left-back during the absence of Junior Firpo this season, appearing in all eight of their Premier League matches this season, and will now have to work extra hard to maintain his spot with Firpo back in training ahead of today's match against Arsenal.

On his future, the Dutchman said: "At least for now I'm really enjoying myself at Leeds and it would be nice if they were willing to extend my contract.

"I feel good here and I focus on Leeds."
