Leeds United are unlikely to renew their interest in Marseille forward Bamba Dieng this winter.

The Elland Road stadium club were extremely eager to secure Dieng during the summer transfer window.

Transfer insider Jonathan Shrager claims there is no plan for Leeds to make another offer for Dieng in January.

The Senegal international is not in Marseile's Champions League squad for the group stages.

There is a possibility that he signs for Nice through a "joker" rule in Ligue 1, which allows for a player to sign for a club outside the transfer window.

However, there is no confirmation of that at present, and Dieng appears stuck at Marseille for now.
