The legendary rock icons of the 1960s Deep Purple is making their long-awaited return to Malaysia this November, 15 years after their last performance in the country. Here’s all you need to know about their 2025 concert.
Recognised globally as trailblazers of hard rock and heavy metal, Deep Purple’s contribution to the evolution of modern music is undeniable. With a career that spans more than five decades, 23 studio albums, and over 100 million records sold worldwide, their legacy as one of the greatest rock bands in history remains firmly intact.
Often cited alongside Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath as the architects of hard rock, Deep Purple has influenced generations of musicians and shaped the genre for decades—with artists like Metallica, Aerosmith, and Van Halen citing Deep Purple as a key influence. Their live performances are legendary, with ‘Made in’ Japan earning a place on Rolling Stone’s list of the Best Live Albums of All Time. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and recipients of the Legend Award at the World Music Awards, the band’s accolades reflect a monumental impact on global music culture.
This milestone concert is organised by Hitman Solutions, a leading name in live entertainment that has previously brought international stars like Ne-Yo, Bring Me The Horizon, and Incubus to Malaysian stages.
According to Rohit Rampal, CEO and Founder of Hitman Group, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. “There’s a clear resurgence of rock concerts in Malaysia, and we’re committed to fuelling that momentum by bringing in the genre’s true pioneers,” he said. “Deep Purple’s legacy is unmatched, and it’s an honour to finally welcome them back to Kuala Lumpur.”
With Kuala Lumpur as their only Southeast Asian stop on the tour, the concert is poised to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for regional fans and demand is expected to be intense.

Rock legends Deep Purple will take the stage at the Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur on 23 November 2025. Tickets will officially go on sale starting 30 July 2025 at 12 PM MYT, available exclusively through Hitman Solution’s official website.
