- The New York Yankees confirmed that the stadium tower was drained and sanitised, adding that no cases have been linked to the venue and no games postponed.
- Health officials have advised anyone visiting or living in the affected Bronx neighbourhoods since late August to contact a healthcare provider if they experience flu-like symptoms.
