Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is convinced he's improving under manager Brendan Rodgers.

The 23-year-old says he has improved tactically, physically and technically ahead of the new season.

"Tactically, I've evolved a lot as a player," Dewsbury-Hall told CITY, the club's matchday programme ahead of Sunday's friendly against Sevilla. "I've sat down with the gaffer a lot to talk about how he wants me to play and I've added that into my game. Through that, he trusts me enough to keep playing me so there's a lot more tactical things in the game that I'm now aware of.

"Physically and technically, I've improved too. We all know how high intensity the Premier League is so you need to be at your optimum fitness level. Obviously, there's a lot of good players so you have to deal with the ball a lot under pressure in tight areas and try to find that killer pass. I feel like as a whole player I'm evolving so I'm just hoping I can continue that this season."
