Leicester City defender Jannick Vestergaard was left "sorry" after his Denmark omission.
Vestergaard, after struggling for minutes at Leicester this season, has been left out of Kasper Hjulmand's latest squad.
In response, he told BT: "No, I'm not disappointed. Then I should have expected to be selected.
"And I'm realistic and knew it was difficult because of playing time.
"Something else is that I had hoped to be selected, so I'm sorry not to be there."
