Graham Potter has rejected an approach by Leicester City.
Sacked by Chelsea on Sunday night, Potter was contacted by Leicester on Monday after their dismissal of Brendan Rodgers.
However, Potter declined the enquiry.
The Sun says he is expected to take some time out after a bruising spell at Stamford Bridge in order to recover before assessing his options in the summer.
Time away with his family is now planned before considering a return to the game next season.
For the moment, Potter remains on contract at Chelsea and is currently on 'gardening leave'.
