Aston Villa free agent Arjan Raikhy is set to join Championship side Leicester City in the coming days.
The midfielder was with the club's Under-21 squad last season, but the 20-year-old was released by Villa.
Previous loan spells at Stockport County and Grimsby Town were successes, but Raikhy could not show the credentials to join Villa's first team.
Per Sky Sports, Raikhy will now join Leicester, as he seeks regular football.
The Foxes are likely to integrate him into the Under-21s, but may move him up to first team games later in the season.
The former West Brom youngster Raikhy now has a chance to showcase his quality in the Championship.
