Former England defender Joleon Lescott is calling time on his coaching career for the moment.
The ex-Manchester City and Everton stopper has left his role as England Under 21s coach.
Lescott, who enjoyed a glittering Premier League career, was working with Lee Carsley as a consultant coach.
The 41-year-old will not be with the setup moving forward, as he wants to work as a sporting director.
Per The Mail, Lescott is happy with the experience he was able to enjoy with the England youngsters.
However, he doesn't believe that another year or two in the job would do him much good.
