Tech Release: Reviews and Coverage for Tech, Gadgets, Automotive & many more

A refrigerator has long been a staple in every household, but today, it plays an even more vital role as Malaysians increasingly embrace home cooking and smarter food management. Recognising this shift, PRISM+ has unveiled its latest line of refrigerators — the PureFresh TMF Series — designed to combine affordability, efficiency, and modern convenience.

Positioned as the brand’s most budget-friendly refrigerator lineup to date, the PureFresh TMF Series starts from just RM929, making premium cooling technology more accessible to a wider range of Malaysian households. The new range includes three models — TMF 250, TMF 310, and TMF 430 — each offering large storage capacities tailored to different household needs.

With sleek Inox and Black Inox finishes, the refrigerators feature a contemporary anti-fingerprint design that blends seamlessly into modern kitchens while remaining practical for everyday use.

Built for Everyday Living

As festive seasons such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, and Deepavali continue to drive bulk grocery shopping and meal preparation, having a dependable refrigerator has become more important than ever. The PureFresh TMF Series addresses this need with features aimed at preserving freshness while reducing food waste.

At the core of the series is an inverter compressor, engineered to deliver energy-efficient cooling with quieter operation — a practical benefit for busy households. The refrigerators are also certified with a 5-Star Energy Rating, reflecting their ability to maintain consistent cooling performance while keeping electricity consumption in check.

Further enhancing sustainability, the series uses eco-friendly R600a refrigerant, aligning with growing consumer demand for greener home appliances.

Smarter Cooling, Less Hassle

To improve daily convenience, the PureFresh TMF Series comes equipped with No Frost technology, eliminating the need for manual defrosting by preventing ice build-up. Its Multi-Zone Cooling system ensures even temperature distribution across compartments, helping keep everything from fresh produce to leftovers in optimal condition.

An integrated anti-odour system maintains a clean and hygienic interior by minimising lingering food smells — particularly useful for households storing a variety of dishes. Meanwhile, energy-efficient LED lighting provides clear visibility, making it easier to locate items inside the refrigerator.

Long-Term Value for Malaysian Homes

Beyond functionality, the PureFresh TMF Series is built with long-term reliability in mind. Each unit comes with a two-year general warranty, complemented by a 12-year warranty on the compressor — offering added peace of mind for consumers.

According to Eric Kam, Country Director of PRISM+ Malaysia, the goal is to remove the traditional trade-off between cost and performance.

“Malaysian households shouldn’t have to choose between strong performance, low running costs, and affordability,” he said. “With the PureFresh TMF Series, we’re delivering energy-efficient cooling, thoughtful features, and long-term reliability at a price point that’s genuinely accessible.”

Availability

The PRISM+ PureFresh TMF Series will be available in Malaysia starting April 24, 2026, from 8pm onwards via the PRISM+ official website, Shopee, and selected retail outlets nationwide.

With its combination of affordability, efficiency, and user-friendly features, the new lineup reflects a growing trend in home appliances — delivering practical innovation without the premium price tag.
