SANDAKAN: The Sabah Forestry Department said unscrupulous parties have forged letters linking the Sabah Forestry Department in quotation offers for supplies or services to District Forestry Offices.

“The Sabah Forestry Department vehemently denies any association with these letters and asserts.

“We have never issued any such correspondence to any company for the purpose of offering supply of equipment or services under the letterhead of any Ministry,” said Chief Conservator of Forest Datuk Frederick Kuhan in a statement.

The public are advised to first verify with the Department.
