Lewis Ferguson is delighted with his move to Bologna.
The young midfielder was signed by Bologna from Aberdeen and was presented to the local media today.
Ferguson said, "I am a box to box midfielder, very devoted to offensive action, even if I focus a lot on defensive matters.
"Many speak English here, so it was easier for me to settle in. Aaron (Hickey) gave me positive feedback on Bologna, the club and the city, so it was good advice.
"My father was a point of reference, Derek Ferguson, he was my idol that I grew up with. As a kid I really liked Frank Lampard.
"I watched a lot of Italian football and also Bologna given Hickey's presence. I really enjoyed following the Italian national team when I was little."
