LG ELECTRONICS showcased AI-connected home appliances, energy-efficient technologies and new television and audio products at IFA 2026, while receiving the Best Brand of IFA 2026 title and several product awards.
The company’s expanded AI Home ecosystem centers on the LG ThinQ ON home hub and LG ThinQ platform, which connect appliances, spaces and services. ThinQ Claw, a text-chat-based AI agent integrated with ThinQ ON, made its public debut at the event.
LG also presented seven appliances aimed at simplifying household routines, including an LG SIGNATURE refrigerator with large language model-based conversational AI, a Fit & Max washer and dryer pair, a 25-inch WashTower, a French-door refrigerator, a dishwasher with a 1-Hour Wash & Dry cycle, the company's first hair dryer and a next-generation Signature Downdraft Hood.
The Fit & Max washing machine uses up to 70 percent less energy than the minimum requirement for an A-grade rating under European standards, based on specified test conditions. AI Wash and AI Dry detect fabric types and adjust cycles. The Fit & Max dishwasher uses AI SenseClean to detect soil levels and adjust water temperature, cycle time and detergent amounts.
In entertainment, LG showcased its Micro RGB evo and Mini RGB evo televisions, which use RGB-based display technology to improve color separation and purity. TÜV Rheinland certified the Micro RGB evo MRGB95 and Mini RGB evo MRGB9M and MRGB85 models under its High Purity RGB Spectrum Display certification.
The Micro RGB evo also uses the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, with features including a Dual AI Engine, Precision Color Enhancer and Micro Dimming Ultra. LG said the processor is also used in its flagship OLED models.
LG's entertainment lineup received several IFA Innovation Awards. The company was named Best Brand of IFA 2026, while the LG OLED evo AI W6 True Wireless Wallpaper TV won Best in Home & Entertainment and LG Sound Suite AI won Best in Audio. Five other products, including the OLED evo G6, Micro RGB evo, Mini RGB evo, StanbyME 2 Max and xboom Stage 501, received Honoree distinctions.
The company also demonstrated energy-management technologies, including ThinQ Pro for commercial facilities and a Home Energy Management System powered by Homey. LG said some of the technologies shown at IFA may not be available in the Philippines, while product specifications and availability vary by market.
