LG’s subscription service for its products – previously known as Rent-Up – has been aptly rebranded as LG Subscribe. In its press release, LG stated that the rebrand aimed to address a common point of confusion in the market, explaining that “many were uncertain if the term “rent” implied temporary use or a path to ownership.”
Feedback from consumers led to the rebranding as LG Subscribe, which is now aligned with other subsidiaries in countries including Thailand, India, and Singapore.
At its core, LG Subscribe maintains the key philosophy of making LG products more accessible to Malaysians. It currently offers a robust line-up across 10 of its premium categories, including PuriCare water purifiers, CordZero vacuums, ArtCool air conditioners, WashTower laundry solutions, and more. These products are integrated with LG’s ThinQ app, which enables seamless and remote control.

Subscribers can enjoy professional maintenance for five to seven years, depending on the plan they choose. Alternatively, self-service and combined maintenance plans are also available for selected products.
The highlight of LG Subscribe is that it does not require hefty upfront payments, allowing families to furnish their homes with premium LG products through affordable monthly payments.
