Liew to grace Legal Year dinner

Kota Kinabalu: Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Christina Liew will grace the Gala Dinner tomorrow (Friday) at the Sabah International Convention Centre in conjunction with the Opening of the Legal Year (OLY) Sabah and Sarawak 2024.

President of the Sabah Law Society (SLS), Mohamed Nazim Maduarin, who led a delegation to pay a courtesy call, briefed Liew on the event.

He said dignitaries from the judiciary, who will attend the Gala Dinner, include the Chief Justice of Malaysia, Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat, former Chief Justice of Malaysia, Tun Raus Sharif, President of the Court of Appeal Malaysia, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abang Iskandar Abang Hashim, Chief Judge of Sabah, Sarawak Tan Sri Dato’ Abdul Rahman Sebli, Chief Judge of Malaya, Tan Sri Dato’ Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah, and Attorney General of Malaysia, Datuk Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh.

Organising Chairman Adrian Cham Chee Khong said an interesting programme has been lined up for the occasion.
