If your driving licence is way past its expiration date, then it's best to get it renewed FAST...or face the consequences!
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) recently gave the ultimatum on expired driving licences, which is slated to end on June 30. Failure to do so will cost a hefty price- having your licence revoked and even retaking the whole driving test!
As listed by JPJ, the following 4 categories of expired licences are at risk of getting revoked:
- Learners Driving Licence (LDL) : Up to 2 years
- Probational Driving Licence (PDL) : More than 1 year
- Competent Driving Licence (CDL) : More than 3 years
- Public Service Vehicle / Goods Driving Licence (PSV / GDL) : More than 3 years
