Outgoing Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders has heaped praise on one youngster.

Lijnders is all too aware of the talent that is coming through the Anfield club's academy.

However, he singled out right-back Conor Bradley as one that he would love to sign for his new club RB Salzburg, where he will be the manager next season.

Lijnders told Redmen TV: "I really believed in Conor Bradley, and Jarell [Quansah] and Caoimhin Kelleher, and Harvey Elliot, and Curtis [Jones]."

Lijnders then grinned: "But Conor, what is he doing here? Conor Bradley? What did he do?

We have a new right defender, you don't need to buy anyone. He can come to Salzburg immediately by the way. I have [my eye on] a lot [of players] - but I don't have the money."
