
Kota Kinabalu: The Likas Vocational College won second place by beating 17 other teams from several nations in an international competition.
The team of four diploma students - Nur Maisarah Balqis Binti Jinno, Nursari Binti Hamid, Jiroryce Michael Chia and Muhammad Syafiq Bin Mohd Yusri - together with their teacher-advisor Roman Pileh, won the second spot at the Coop-Pitch competition at the Asia Pacific Cooperative Summit 4.0 at Promenade Hotel on July 27-30.
Their entry was a garden paver brick pathway that enabled residents of Cheshire Home in Likas to be mobile in their wheelchairs around the garden path.
