Kota Kinabalu: An overwhelming response to LikasVue’s launch on Oct 15 has Asian Pac Holdings Berhad open up another five floors.

Sales Manager Clement Lam said more than 20 units on levels 21 to 25 were sold during the ‘New Phase’ launch at their showroom here on Saturday.

“Availability was supposed to be in 2023 but we couldn’t wait anymore since units for this year are almost sold out.

“Most of the buyers are investors, I would say at 70 per cent when compared to home owners. Investors would opt for our dual key system allowing for two living spaces within a single unit.

“And most of these investors are locals. They know to capitalize on value for money properties given the location here in Likas.

“There are not many developments in Likas anymore with the scant space,” he said adding only a handful of foreigners have secured lots.

Clement detailed that over 60 per cent of LikasVue’s 650 units have been sold since the launch date with prices beginning at RM480,000.

The project was jointly undertaken with Sabah Government-linked Koperasi Serbaguna Sanya Berhad (KOSAN) and built upon where the Wisma Kosan building once stood.

He said in turn, the final units on level 31 to 35 will go on sale next year. LikasVue has no penthouses or Bumiputera lot allocations.

“We have more than 20 different facilities and will be housing the city’s highest sky gym in the City at level 36.

“We are still in the powering stage at about 20 per cent completion and are targeting completion by the third quarter of 2026…so far so good. The location is the biggest selling point,” Clement told Daily Express.
