When The Twilight Saga first hit theatres with Twilight (2008), it instantly turned the vampire–human–werewolf love triangle into a global pop culture phenomenon. Across five films, the saga transformed its young cast into global stars, ignited fandom rivalries and left an indelible mark on the supernatural romance genre. As the movies returned to theatres this “hoa hoa hoa” season, aka autumn, we take a look at where the cast members of The Twilight Saga are today.
Based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling books of the same name, the movie series follows Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart) as she falls for her vampire classmate, Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson). Their love is tested by rival vampires, the vampire coven Volturi, and Bella’s close friendship with werewolf Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner).
The saga includes five films: Twilight (2008), New Moon (2009), Eclipse (2010), Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011) and Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012).
To mark the 20th anniversary of Meyer’s first book, Twilight, the five films were re-released in theatres across the US from 29 October to 2 November 2025.
