Lindsey Graham called for Putin to be ‘taken out’ in video resurfaced after his death

  • Republican Senator Lindsey Graham died on Saturday (11 July) at the age of 71 following a catastrophic medical emergency linked to heart disease.
  • His death came shortly after he returned from Ukraine, where he had met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
  • Following his passing, a 2022 C-SPAN interview clip of Mr Graham, an ally of Donald Trump, has resurfaced.
  • In the clip, he called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to be 'taken out' or sent to the Hague.
  • Mr Graham also urged the Russian people to 'rise up and end this reign of terror'.
