Linkin Park are finally bringing their From Zero World Tour concert to India this 2026, and Bengaluru gets first dibs. Ahead of their Lollapalooza India set in Mumbai, the American rock icons will play a standalone show in the city on 23 January. On the cards? A high-voltage set featuring new tracks alongside era-defining anthems, with Indian metal favourites Bloodywood opening the night. Here’s everything you need to know about their first-ever performance in the country.

An entire generation of rock enthusiasts in India can attest to their teenage angst being fuelled by Linkin Park. So when murmurs of the band’s India debut began circulating, the internet did what it does best: spiral collectively. Those whispers soon turned into a very real date on the calendar with the announcement of the Lollapalooza India headliners, scheduled for 24–25 January 2026.

But it didn’t stop there. Billboards featuring the band’s unmistakable logo and the words “One show wasn’t enough” appeared across Bengaluru, sending fans into a fresh frenzy. The official announcement soon followed, confirming what many had hoped for: a full-fledged Linkin Park concert outside the festival circuit.

Fans can expect a setlist that blends new material with the anthems that shaped an entire generation. Tracks from From Zero — including The Emptiness Machine and Heavy Is the Crown — will sit alongside timeless favourites such as In the End, Numb, Faint, and Somewhere I Belong.

According to the event description, the Bengaluru concert is designed as an “exclusive, high-voltage live experience”, promising a show that feels both intimate and explosive. Opening the night is Bloodywood, whose fusion of folk instrumentation and heavy metal has earned them a devoted following in India and internationally.

The timing couldn’t be better. The band recently earned their first Grammy nominations in over 15 years for their 2024 album From Zero, with nods for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance for lead single The Emptiness Machine. Following the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017, Linkin Park had halted all performances.

Over time, friendships paved a new path. Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn began making music together again, eventually crossing paths with Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain. Several intensive recording sessions later, From Zero was born. On 5 September 2024, the band returned to the stage for the first time in seven years, and they’ve been touring the world ever since.

“This past year on the From Zero World Tour has been incredible,” frontman Mike Shinoda said in a statement, as reported by The Times of India. “When we announced Lollapalooza India, the warmth and excitement from fans was overwhelming, and we decided that one show just wasn’t enough.”
