
KOTA KINABALU: Lions Clubs International has donated cleaning detergent supplies worth RM18,000 to help flood victims in Sabah.
The contribution, channelled through District 308-A2 and led by Second Vice District Governor Alyssa Lim, was fully sponsored by FFM Berhad.
More than 300 households and six schools in Sepanggar, Papar and Penampang benefitted from the aid, which focused on restoring hygiene after the floods.
Alyssa said cleaning supplies are crucial in reducing health risks during recovery and thanked FFM Berhad for their support.
Recipients, including schools and residents, expressed gratitude, saying the supplies were among the most needed items after the disaster.
