“Look at you, now look at me” — BLACKPINK’s fierce pop track “How You Like That” didn’t just top global charts, it echoed across the Coachella venue, marking a turning point in the festival’s history. The K-pop girl group’s iconic 2020 debut successfully opened the floodgates for a wave of Korean artists to step onto one of the biggest stages in the world. As Coachella continues to embrace the global influence of K-pop in 2025 — with a lineup featuring idols like Lisa and ENHYPEN — we take a look back at the Korean artists who have lit up the stage over the years.
Leading our list is the legendary South Korean hip-hop group Epik High. Composed of members Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz, Epik High made history as the first Korean act to perform at Coachella in 2016. Other notable Korean pop artists who have performed at Coachella include Jackson Wang, BIBI, ATEEZ and LE SSERAFIM.
Not to forget ENHYPEN, who made history as the fastest K-pop group to reach the Coachella stage after debut, according to Billboard. The seven-member boy group took to the Sahara stage on 12 April 2025 for their first-week performance, delivering a 13-song set that earned global applause for their live vocals and tightly coordinated moves.
Reflecting on their performance at Coachella 2025, Heeseung of ENHYPEN shared in an interview with ELLE Korea, “I feel like when I look back later on, this performance will be one of the highlights of my life. It’s a stage every singer dreams of standing on, and opportunities like this don’t come often.”

Epik High (2016)
This South Korean hip-hop trio of Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz, made history as the first major Korean act to perform at Coachella in 2016. Their set list included fan-favourite tracks like “Encore,” “Fly,” “Born Hater” and “Don’t Hate Me”.
In 2022, the group became the first Korean act to be invited back to the festival. The event also coincided with the release of their album Epik High Is Here (Part 2).
Reflecting on how Coachella 2022 inspired them to continue making music, Epik High’s leader and rapper Tablo shared in an interview with Billboard, “So we actually did decide internally that Epik High Is Here would sort of be the last album. Epik High Is Here Part 2 ends with ‘Champagne,’ which is sort of going back to the very first song on our first album [‘Go’ on Map of the Human Soul*]. It’s like the curtain call. It was like a collective decision. What happened was… damn it, Coachella kind of inspired us again. We were like, ‘Oh my God…’”
