Liverpool academy starlet Luca Furnell-Gill has been given a lengthy ban for violent conduct.
The forward is serving a five-match ban for elbowing and throwing a punch towards a Manchester United player.
The incident happened during a recent U18s game between the two arch rivals.
The Liverpool ECHO adds that academy director Alex Inglethorpe spoke to counterparts at United about the incident.
The Reds are furious at how Furnell-Gill has behaved and do not believe it reflects their values.
He will be disciplined by the club, in addition to the games that he is missing.
