The 26-year-old was initially expected to return to action after the World Cup, and was even at Liverpool's training camp in Dubai in December. However, the winger suffered a setback on his recovery and was forced to require further surgery to correct the problem.
Diaz is now expected to be sidelined until March with injury, meaning he will have been out for at least five months. Now Diaz has posted an update on his recovery.
In a post on Instagram, Diaz has published a video which shows him taking part in a session at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby. The Liverpool forward can be seen going through a light routine with various stretches and a session on an exercise bike, while wearing a supportive brace on his left knee.
