Former RB Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl is interesting Liverpool.
Eberl surprisingly left RBL last month.
Leipzig emphasised that the decision had nothing to do with sporting results, but because Eberl failed to adapt to the club.
Eberl has been linked with Bayern Munich and now BILD says Liverpool is showing interest in the sporting director.
Liverpool brought in Jrg Schmadtke as sporting director this summer, but he was signed on a short-term contract.
Liverpool have already made contact with Eberl - who is still relevant for Bayern Munich.
But in the German giant, he would not become sporting director, but get a seat on the advisory board. While a move to Liverpool would clearly give Eberl more influence.
