Mohamed Salah and Liverpool's board are no closer to reaching an agreement over the striker's new contract.

Salah will enter the final year of his current deal tomorrow.

The Mirror says Salah and Liverpool are still some way off as far as agreeing terms are concerned for the 30-year-old's new contract.

Salah is now in the final year of his deal and will leave Liverpool on a free transfer next summer unless an agreement is met between the two.

It has been said that FSG are unwilling to break the wage structure at Liverpool to secure Salah's future and the Egyptian would have to lower his demands if he was to sign a new deal.
