Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits they're keen to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Whether their final league position will hinder their efforts to sign the Borussia Dortmund midfielder is a "different subject", says Klopp.
"You heard about Jude, that's a different subject," Klopp said speaking to Sky Sports. "In general, it always makes things more difficult in general, we are still Liverpool, a big club, it's not that we can't do nothing, we will have transfer business.
"We have to, it's 100 per cent clear in the summer we have to make changes, it's clear everyone knows that it will happen. In the end, how much? It's not in my hands exactly what we can but we are in constant talks and everybody knows exactly what we need.
"We have to defend better, we have to attack better, we have to be better. It's easy as that," he added discussing what needs to improve as they travel to the European chasing Magpies.
"We don't know have a lot of points away from home, I know that. We lost a lot of games, we know that, you have that in your mind but it can't be the main thing in your mind.
"We are kind of written off, who cares, pressure is always there. It's really not the main thing in my mind, we have to win football games."
