Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hinted a midfield role is planned for Trent Alexander-Arnold for the new season.
Klopp was reflecting on Alexander-Arnold's inside-fullback role last season.
He said, "Trent can play the position [number six].
"After we put him in this flexible role, everyone told us he should play completely in midfield without saying why. Position six is a holding position and you have to organise much more.
"Trent can play the position, it depends who is on the left and right to him."
