Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes Curtis Jones will shine in a more attacking role next season.

The midfielder was instrumental for England at the U21 European Championships, which the Young Lions won.

During that tournament, he played as a deep lying midfielder for Lee Carsley's team.

After picking up Man of the Match awards during the competition, he is now ready to shine for the Reds.

Yes, Curtis played pretty much each minute of the tournament, one game maybe he didn't play, but he played a really good tournament in a different role, looked from time to time (like) an adult with kids around him on the other side, he looked really in charge of the things," said the Liverpool boss to club media.

He will play probably a different position (for Liverpool) and be more offensive orientated and all these kind of things, but a great achievement, a fantastic achievement."
