Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is happy seeing Steve Cooper prove himself as Nottingham Forest manager.
Cooper previously worked in Liverpool's academy between 2008 and 2013.
Klopp wrote in his programme notes, "(He) left our academy before I arrived.
"But I know he is very well respected not just by his former colleagues at Liverpool but throughout football as a whole.
"By taking Forest back into the Premier League and then making them competitive at this level, he has more than earned this respect."
