Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he's a big fan of Portuguese football development.
Klopp was speaking about youth development at the 'Football Talks' summit this week.
He said, "I appreciate top football education. As a rule, they are incredibly well trained in training and, perhaps, also in the transition to senior football. When we think of top players, Cristiano [Ronaldo] and also Bernardo [Silva ] make Portugal an impressive country in football.
"Once I came to Portugal and, out of curiosity, I went to see the place where [Luis] Figo grew up. And, between the buildings, in a humble neighbourhood, there was a field, a five-a-side football field, with lights, so the children could play at night. In Germany, the neighbors would never allow this to happen without protesting, because of the noise."
