Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted to liking the versatility of midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
The natural no.8 can also play as a no.6 in a deeper midfield position, when required.
Mac Allsiter did play such a role in the club's recent games before the international break.
Asked about Mac Allister as a no.6, Klopp told reporters: "I understand why people ask about positions, but it's about how the team is set up.
Is Macca a natural born six? No. Has football developed in the last few years in ways we wouldn't have imagined? Yes. Does that mean Macca can play six? Yes
"I like him there a lot, actually. As a team we can benefit from it if we have a really compact formation. That is what we will need tomorrow"
