Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is urging Darwin Nunez to ignore social media after his four-goal haul in victory over RB Leipzig.Nunez moved to post a picture of himself.

While Klopp believes too much browsing on social media is unhealthy for his squad, he accepts it is inevitable among the current generation of footballers.

"Mo, I am not sure if it is because of his new contract or if he is being generous as hell, but he gave Darwin the penalty and Darwin was there," Klopp said. "The Pandora's box was opened! And then of course it was a perfect night for him.

"It's always said that we pay a lot of money and the players don't feel the pressure of whatever, but they are completely normal human beings and if the first touch is not perfect, this generation of people, they read social media when it is really not smart, but they do!

"And then, all of a sudden, you get in a rush and these kinds of things, so that is the best way, obviously, to end all these discussions. He's a different striker to what we've had but he's a really good one."
