Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has paid tribute to Alexis Mac Allister ahead of today's clash with Brighton.
Mac Aliister left Brighton last summer for Anfield.
Klopp said: "Alexis is exactly the player I had hoped for. He's super influential, super smart, and he's a good guy.
"He also loves playing for Liverpool, which is really important. He gives rhythm to the team and makes a big difference. He can control the game and is always involved. He really is a top player.
"But that was also our impression when we brought him to the club. He has fulfilled expectations and more."
