Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is happy seeing Harvey Elliott sign a new deal.
Klopp admits Elliott could be involved in Monday night's clash with Crystal Palace.
He said, "Yes he is a fantastic boy and a super player. He had a good pre season and is always in contention to start.
"It is much better to play at night time [cooler] but it's the same for Crystal Palace. It should not be a comfortable game at all."
Klopp also spoke of Roberto Firmino's situation.
"Bobby is a fantastic player. He had a good pre-season, not a perfect pre-season but a good one. That's all that he needed.
"For all the sessions he did and to be able to train as often as he did, he will benefit from that.
"But he has had 200 starts in the Premier League, so not bad."
