Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has urged fans to lay off Joe Gomez.
Klopp says fans shouldn't pressure the defender over his lack of goals for the club
After their FA Cup win against Southampton, Klopp told LFCTV: "Joey is doing exceptional - now he's playing the [number] six role... the way he played is absolutely crazy.
"Can I ask the people - as funny as it is - not to shout 'SHOOOOOT'? Leave the boy alone - one day he will shoot. Let him find the moment himself.
"If he shoots from 40 yards just because the people are calling then I will get really angry but what a boy, what a game, absolutely exceptional."
